Want to lose weight? Here is my own
version of slimming. In this process, COMMITMENT
AND DETERMINATION are highly required.
For breakfast…
I make sure that I only eat five
slices of loaf bread, or five pieces of pandesal.
Yeah, five! No more no less. Then lots and lots of water, remember at least 8 glasses of water is needed
by the body as prescribed by doctors. I deprive myself of rice in the morning,
this is how my discipline starts. And I make sure the deprivation continues
until lunch.

When somebody cooks something good
for breakfast. Like foods that seduce my nose and activates the rumbling sound
in my stomach, I TRY TO RESIST! I go
to my room, force myself to sleep again, or busy myself with something, so as
to forget the seducing smell.
Here comes lunch…
Of course I can hear the sound the
spoons and forks hitting the plate. This is what I do, I leave the room, go to
the refrigerator, look for the plastic container with coconut balls inside, I take two small balls, refill my glass
of water, go back to my room and lock the door. Those two balls of coconut are
good for lunch.

I forgot to tell you, the whole
time I was in my room, no electric fan was turned on. So that means, I’m
sweating all day.
It’s dinner time…
The deprivation ends! I give myself
an option whether to eat rice or bread still. If I choose rice, I make sure not
indulge myself in “KARGADOR MEAL”. Kargador
meal, as I defined it, is eating rice which is good for 3-4 persons in one
sitting, having 2-3 viands, drinking a large glass of fruit juice or large
Milo, and plus dessert. Yeah folks, that is kargador
meal. But if I choose bread, it’s supposed to be 5 slices of loaf bread, or
five pieces of pandesal again. Again,
five! Is there something with the number five?
So that, folks, is my slimming
steps. Great, isn’t it?
