I’m writing this while I’m cooking my
dinner,
And as of the moment…….
I’M SICK..
I wrote a draft of this on a paper
because my eyes are currently having problems with the laptop screen… hello
RADIATION… I feel the need to increase the grade of my lens (Yeah, too much
time staring at the screen, that’s Twitter’s fault). Hahaha!
So today, my college friends and I went
out. Jeff fetched me at home, then, we went to Concepcion to fetch Rens. While going
to Concepcion, me and Jeff talked about his political plans, love-life, school,
etc. knowing Jeff, there were no dull moments in the car. He is the type of
person who always carry his humor with him. Yeah, only his humor, wits and
looks are not included. Hahahahaha!
When we arrived in Concepcion, we went
straight to Rens’s neighborhood and waited for him. We were supposed to look
for a place to eat and talk in Concepcion, but we ended up going to Sara, in Café
Onze.
Rens was one of my “BROS” in college. Take
note of the “WAS”. I’ll tell you later, okay? He was one of my trustworthy
friends. His eldest sister and my Aunt were colleagues in the teaching
profession before my Aunt retired.
So here’s the catch about the WAS, he
was one of my bros, but now, one of my sisters. My bro transformed into a
beautiful butterfly and let’s call her “Barbie” from now on.
*** My dinner is served.
So back to the story, we went to Café Onze
for our snacks. Barbie and I were joking Jeff that we’ll order the most
expensive foods in the menu, since he is the one who will pay for the food. So here
are our orders: one pan of pizza (pronounced as PI-ZA, not PIT-SA, according to
Jeff. Hahaha!), three cheeseburgers, a family sized serve of French fries,
three serves of solo Lasagna (which we told the waitress as LA-SAG-NA with the “G”),
pineapple juice for Barbie, Iced tea for me, and a pitcher of water for Jeff
only!, yes, a pitcher of water for him. We kid Jeff that he ordered water for
himself because his budget was not enough for our food hahaha! The waitress was
laughing more than us (ay, si manang kung makatawa WAGAS!)
While eating, we talked and talked,
laughed and laughed.
After Jeff payed the bill, we went back
to Concepcion to drop Barbie off and went straight to San Dionisio. On the way,
me and Jeff were discussing about a friend of ours, whose name shall not be
mentioned. (VOLDEMORT)
I had a great time with the two of my
craziest friends, we planned that we will be having our next trip by boat and
we will go island hopping.
When I got home, I hurriedly posted our
photos in FB with the caption, “ This is my kind of crowd, .,doctors of philosophy major in big and small dippers. ,level up na kmi, . 1st road trip namun nakasakay kmi sa motor, mga hubog pa, sbng, naka car na kami kag indi na hubog, . hahahaha, THREE INSANE PEOPLE TRYING TO ACT SANE. . next trip, island hopping. . joiner anyone? hahaha #MahirapMakaMoveOn #BSN2011 #ReunionWidTheCoverBoys #KULANGkami #Kabuanay"
Let me elaborate the caption. When we
were in our second year in college, that was the time we were required to have
a test on Hepatitis B and get immunization from that disease. So what the three
of us did was, we went to Concepcion on a motorcycle for the test, with Jeff as
the driver. While waiting for the result, we went to an inland result to eat
lunch and rest. Upon arriving, my cousin and her friend were also there having
there rest from work. Instead of buying our food, my cousin treated us, that,
including beer. We got tipsy by the way, yeah the three of us. After hours of
being drunk and waiting for the result, we went back to the laboratory to get
the result. We went back to San Dionisio for our immunization. Take note, we
were drunk, right? We rode the motorcycle, Jeff again as our driver. The motorcycle
was swerving while we were traveling, but good thing, accident was not our
friend on that day.
Level-up na po kami, kasi noong una,
naka motor lang po. Ngayon naka car na po at si Jeff paring yong driver.
Till next time guys, I hope that by next
time the coverboys will be complete. Calling, Aerol, Jireh, Michael James, Poy
and Jesem. . .
Soon…
